The lights were slightly dimmed in the Grille as it was almost closing time. Edward walked in, ignoring the stares he got from the humans eating out of french fry baskets. He took a seat in a booth and gave a crooked smile at the waitress that slowly came up, intimidated by him.
"What can I get you?" She asked shakily, taken back by his beauty. He looked more like a sculpture than a person.

Rebekah was walking into the Grille, about to head to the bar, when she saw a gorgeous guy sitting in a booth. She paused for a moment, before going over to the bar and ordering a drink. She glanced back at him.

Edward smiled, ordering a simple burger and fries. He watched as the girl walked back into the kitchen, he could hear her practically hyperventilating. He chuckled softly as he traced a pattern into the tables surface.

Rebekah had a small smile on her face, and once she got her drink she walked over to his booth. "I don't believe I've seen you around here before. Mind if I join you?"

Edward looked up, surprised that a human had actually walked over to him. Most were intimidated, why wasn't she? Nodding he spoke in his smooth velvet like voice "I don't mind." He murmured, curious about her as he tried to keep his mind off reading hers.

Rebekah smiled and sat down. He was gorgeous, she thought. "I'm Rebekah. Rebekah Mikaelson." She said, holding her hand out to him.

Edward had come for new hunting areas, he heard there was a major mountain lion population problem in this area and it was his favorite after all "I... was looking for some new scenery."
