Elena sat at the grille bar eating. She wanted to get her mind off blood, but she just couldn't. So she ate her feelings, She was wearing. She had a hamburger and fries. She picked at her fries one by one resting her head on her hand dazed. She sighed staring off into nowhere. She really just wanted to control the blood thirst, not trying to ignore it and throw it off to the side. |

Damon walked into the Grille, smirking as he saw Elena up at the bar. He walked up and ordered his usual as he took a seat next to her, stealing one of her fries.

"Hey!" Elena said looking up not knowing who she was yelling at. She looked up and saw Damon. She couldn't help but let out one of her adorable, 'Elena Gilbert Laughs.' "Why are you here?" she asked eating another fry.

Damon smirked, he had to admit, he did love her laugh. He gave a shrug "Well, I decided since it's a free country why not take up on the opportunity?"

Elena nodded, "That's a great explanation..." she said smiling. She missed his attitude towards everything. Sometimes, she even missed when they were together. He was like a different person.
