Caroline let out a laugh "You're still laughing. You should be apologizing for leaving for a whole year out of no where..." she now stood on her porch "What, you think you can go make me have even the slightest feelings for you and then just leave and come back like nothing ever happened?"

Klaus looked at her, "I deserve all the answers," he said not truly knowing what he meant.. it just came out. he was used to being the boss of everyone back in New Orleans, but here he had no power other than Compelling.

Klaus stepped inside, he followed her to the kitchen. "why don't you just drink blood?" he asked looking at the bottle of water she's holding.

Caroline shrugged "I drink when I really want it, and I don't want it. Plus, water is way better for skin." She smiled thinking of the amazing self control she had. She was so proud of herself.
